Constantin Seyer

Constantin Seyer was born on a late summer's day in Vienna, Austria - specifically on August 25 of 2002. As a child in the family home, his ears were tuned to the music of Deep Purple and Stevie Wonder. His music teacher mother made sure he had every opportunity to nurture his musical talent, and his father took him to his first concert (Deep Purple) at the tender age of 8. At about the same time, he began learning to play the drums, later adding basic bass to his instrumental repertoire.

Consti, as everyone calls him, established his first band VelmNovice as a music school ensemble at age 14. The lineup has remained stable since then, but now performs under the name stumm:film. Check out their vibe here: stumm:film

Since two musical projects don't seem to be enough, Constantin mans the drums in yet another formation, the one closest to his heart (barring patchwork.fm, or so we'd like to hope): Liquid Air. This band has been around since 2019, and with this one, he enjoys cranking it up a few notches.

Over the years, Consti has played in plenty of different musical settings - from orchestras to metal bands - collecting live and studio session experience along the way. As a drummer, he cites eclectic musical influences from jazz fusion to deathcore, specifying that his favorite drummers are mainly from the progressive genres: Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), Jon Theodore (Ex Mars Volta) und Baard Kolstad (Leprous).

Cons(t)i joined patchwork.fm at the beginning of 2024.
